THE BAYAT FOUNDATION PROVIDES VITAL NEW FACILITIES AND SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO KABUL AREA SCHOOLS

Foundation Leaders Dr. Ehsan and Mrs. Fatema Laya Bayat, Provide New Facilities, Equipment and Thousands of School Supplies To Faculty and Students at Seven Secondary Schools and High Schools

Kabul—Afghanistan, August 6, 2019The Bayat Foundation (www.bayatfoundation.org), Afghanistan’s largest private charitable organization, announced the successful completion of its Summer 2019 School and Student Assistance Program, which has provided new facilities, equipment, and more than 5,000 individual types of school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, backpacks, shoes and prepackaged nutritious meals to a group of secondary schools and high schools located in Kabul City.

From July 21 to July 22, 2019, Bayat Foundation Co-Founders Dr. Ehsan and Mrs. Fatema Laya Bayat, leading a team of Bayat Foundation staff, presented the following schools with much needed and appreciated improvements to their school buildings:

Rabia Balkhi School: Bayat Foundation sponsored a broad range of important building improvement projects at the Rabia Balkhi School, including the construction of a new well, and the provision of a new metal door and a photocopier machine.

Wahdat Girls High School:For the faculty and students of Wahdat Girls High School, The Bayat Foundation repaired the school’s gymnasium and volleyball facilities.

Omulbanin High School:The Omulbanin High School received a new athletic field from The Bayat Foundation.

In addition to leading the program of school building renovations, Dr. Ehsan Bayat and Mrs. Fatema Laya Bayat also directed the distribution of more than 5,000 individual types of school supplies, including notebooks, pencils, backpacks, shoes and prepackaged nutritious meals to the students attending the following schools:

Wahdat Girls High School

Omulbanin High School

Guzargah Secondry School


Imani High School


Shamsul Mashayekh High School

Nahid Shahid High School
