The Bayat Foundation has funded the reconstruction of the Surgical Maternity ward of Rabea Balkhi Hospital, continuing our mission to save the lives of mothers in Afghanistan. Improvements included a new surgical area with modern equipment and a recovery ward with beds so that Afghan mothers being treated can recover comfortably. In addition to the maternity ward itself, the Foundation also paid for medication, surgical tools, and a new modernized oxygen system to help save lives.
The inauguration ceremony for the Surgical Maternity ward was attended by Bayat Foundation representatives, hospital administrators, and authorities of the Health Ministry.
